Why Support Grace Nanana

The Maasai girls who come to Grace Nanana Rescue Centre are the most at-risk – orphans, runaways or abandoned.

The school provides shelter, food, clothing and nurturing care; helping them develop personal confidence and occupational skills to reach their full potential.

In turn, these girls grow into self-supporting, independent women who will help lift their communities out of poverty to a sustainable future.

Learn more about Grace Nanana Education & Rescue Centre here.

Shelter, Food + Care

There is a dormitory and three meals a day provided to the girls. A house mother lives on site.

Mental + Emotional Health

The school provides counseling and other resources to students to help support them.

Education

In rural and areas of poverty, only 19% of girls access education. Schools fees and supplies are provided to the girls.

Empowerment

Priscila Nangurai is the Principal of the school and a long-time leaders in girls' rights and education in Kenya. She provides continual support and leadership.
